Two brothers who coach football in Leeds.
Gamechangers isn't a franchise or an academy. It's David and James Lawn — two brothers who grew up playing football in West Yorkshire and now coach the next generation of players who take the game seriously.
Why we started coaching.
We saw too many sessions where kids stood in lines waiting for a turn, coaches shouted more than they taught, and players went home without knowing what they'd actually worked on. We thought we could do it better.
Every session we run is built around the game itself. Match pictures. Real decisions under pressure. Honest feedback that players can actually use on Sunday. We don't do gimmicks and we don't waste time.
Meet the coaches.
Head Coach
David Lawn
Runs the 1:1 sessions. Good at spotting the small things — body shape, first touch, where a player's eyes go before they receive. Calm, specific feedback. Doesn't shout for the sake of it.
FA qualified. DBS checked. Fully insured.
Head Coach
James Lawn
Brings the energy in group sessions and camps. Keeps the tempo high and helps players make better decisions when it's loud and fast. Builds confidence under pressure.

How we work.
We keep numbers small. 1:1 sessions are just your player and one of us. Group sessions are capped at 6. That means more touches, more feedback, more time actually coaching — not crowd control.
Sessions are planned around what's happening on matchday. If your player struggled with receiving under pressure last Sunday, that's what we work on. Not a generic drill sheet — their game, their gaps, their next step.
We run sessions across Leeds. If you're based in Roundhay or north Leeds, we're probably nearby.
